Sōkyū no Fafner DVD-BOX

The show Fafner aired during the 2nd half of 2004 and also produced an OVA, the 50mins prequel Sōkyū no Fafner: RIGHT OF LEFT.

After a few Drama CDs and what-not, 2 months ago they've release Fafner DVD-BOX, which contains all episodes, the OVA director's cut and alot of extra special features.
Unfortunately these are just dvds 'cause with all the HD Blu-ray re-releases these days you would think so but no...

Still, can't wait to get my hands on it. If I ever ~___~

Cat Shit One (awesome title)

Animals are often used by the western media as genre's aimed towards younger viewers for their cuteness. In Japan however, well... this.



Cat Shit One is a manga series based on war events with nationality distinguished by the animals used, in this case, Americans are rabbits. (rabbit => Usagi => USAGI => USA GI => USA General-Infantry, lol)
The title Cat Shit One are the main character’s group name, which was set in the Vietnam War, where Vietnamese were cats hence the name.
The upcoming movie/series (still unsure about that) would be released early 2010 and it’s assumed to be based on Middle East events. Reminds me of MGS4
