Finish buildin' them and dang they're so nicely detailed and movements are even better than the new 1/100's I got.. I guess to match the HG, its the MG XD

Gundam Arios

I had to get another Gundam to match with the 'Cherudim' so I got 'Arios' but I didn't get 'Exia' 'cause I plan to get it as a MasterGrade and 'Seravee' its fat. I also built the Action Bases and damn they make the gundam look so much better!

AnimeUNSW and HobbyCo's Gunpla Workshop

AUNSW and HobbyCo. hosted a Gundal Model Workshop today with airbrush and buildin demo's. We started the day with a meet up at HobbyCo. where we made our purchase of the Gundams we wanted to build on the day and I bought one 1/100 NG Arios Gundam, 1/144 HG Exia R2, 1/144 HG 0 Gundam and two Action Base algthough I only had time to build the Arios 'which took 4+ hours'.

I myself was too busy buildin my gundam so didn't have time to check out the demo's Rhyan from HobbyCo. showed, including airbrushin, coatin, cleaning and watnot.. After 5hours, we moved to our next activity, AUNSW's Capture the Flag.. we were to "Capture" the flag with our cameras or something like that.. it wasn't too sucessful so we just had random fun instead.

Afterwards we went to Wagaya for dinner and that was OK XD

Overall, a fun fun fun day..

SMASH! Aftermath Meetup

'picture irrelevant'

Since most of us staff bonded at SMASH!, it was decided that we'd have a meet up.

Well, meet up at Norita and played games for a couple of hours, then moved to M9 for one game of pool, then to the food court at Sussex Centre for dinner, then mucked around at Darlin' Harbour's field and kids playgrounds an finally to Lindt Cafe. Day started at 2pm and ended for me at 10pm.

Mini Review: Ponyo on the Cliff by the Sea

'So this movie was like 'The Little Mermaid' but without a villian.. ^,^'

It was major cute but it didn't really have a plot.

I give it 3 'aww' out of 5

Just when I mention the XN Raiser, the Seven Sword set was announced. Unfortunately, its also for the 1/144 HG model. But behold, PG Gundam 00 and 0 Raiser.

I think the add on is being released on 25th August, I dunno... it just looks like a sweet accessory to the gundam, think it reminds me of Sword Impulse XD

Too bad this is just a 1/144 model.. hope it comes with the 1/60 Perfect Grade Gundam 00.. but unlikely

In the last day of SMASH! I, out of line, spent most of my time in the Karaoke Room.

Yeh I ain't really got much to say about SMASH!, just had a good time with new and old friends.

SMASH! Day 1

As a volunteer, I was scheduled to work at the Hobby Co. 's Gundam workshop which provided 400 free 1/144 FG gundams from the 00 series. This was in celebration of Gundam's 30th Anniversary. Didn't exactly get a chance to enjoy the convention itself, only had an hour break to lunch.

For helping Hobby Co. they also gave me this, 1/100 HG Cherudim Gundam. Not exactly a 00 fan but a freebie's a freebie XD

SMASH! setup day

Setup day which mainly involved chair/table moving and a far amount of unloading of supplies.. Madman has so much crap >_<

First AUNSW session

Went to the Norita, the korean gaming/board game cafe and then dinner at some korean/jap place...
Anime fanatics love their japanese.. I for one am getting abit tired of having so much jap dinners

Lap came back for 4 days to graduate and then went back to Hong Kong.
At the grad, he had gifts for everyone from HK, he got me a Petit Studio Figure.
My fav character in Gundam Seed Destiny is Shinn 'yeh thats right.. hate me' so he got me Luna.

One thing in the trailer that did cought my attention was the shot of the new pilot EVA unit 05











Chances are its the new female character for the movie and piloting the EVA that looks like an Armored Core.
